Jordan Sewell is an associate with Alan Pratt Law Firm, with a practice focused on land claims negotiations.
 
Prior to joining Alan Pratt Law Firm, Jordan was an associate in a multinational Ottawa-based firm where he gained litigation experience in Aboriginal rights, class proceedings and international civil actions.
 
Jordan has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Provincial Offences Court.
While completing his JD at Queen’s Law, Jordan was a Legal Aid caseworker, representing low-income Kingston residents and students in criminal, employment and social assistance matters. After his second year of law school, Jordan lived with a First Nations community north of the Arctic Circle assisting in the development their self-government agreement. During his tenure, he also negotiated fur trade agreements and worked with the Elder Council delineating jurisdiction boundaries. In 2013, Jordan participated in the 2013 Kawaskimhon Law Moot.
 
Jordan is an avid wilderness canoeist, writer, and radio broadcaster.
